Smith & Wesson 2nd Generation HRT Out the Front (OTF) Spring Assisted Knife / Bayonet Blade

This is the new 2nd generation style of Smith & Wesson ultra-popular spring assisted OTF (out the front) opening knife. The 1st generation of these knives were the world's first spring assisted front openers.

This knife is legal to own in all 50 U.S. states.

Just push the actuating stud on the top of the handle forward, then the spring assist mechanism takes over and propels the knife blade out the front of the knife. To close, pull back the stud with your thumb until the blade locks back into the handle.

The 2nd generation knives feature a lightweight aluminum body with detailed design work. The knife measures 4.7" closed, with a 3" 4116 stainless steel titanium coated bayonet spear blade with partial serrations on the top edge. There is a built in glass break on the end of the handle. Safety switch on side of knife locks blade closed to prevent accidental blade deployment. A sturdy metal pocket clip is also supplied.
