Kissing Crane Knives - Robert Klaas of Germany

Robert Klaas of Germany has made quality knives for many years and sold them under several brands, but in the United States the company is best known for the Kissing Crane Knives brand. That brand has been discontinued and his knives are now sold under the Genuine Klaas Original brand, though some Kissing Crane branded knives remain in our inventory. Some Genuine Klaas Original knives are identical to previous Kissing Crane knives, except for the branding.

Robert Klaas knives are known as popular whittlers and pocket knives and Wild Bill Wholesale offers a wide selection at discount, wholesale prices. Many of these knives feature genuine stag handles, such as the Trapper, which is 4.125 inches long closed and has two blades, or the Mini Trapper, which is 3.5 inches long closed, and the Large Stockman, with clip, spey and sheepsfoot blades of stainless steel. Nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield finish the look of the stag handles.

Many Robert Klaas knives are available in several different styles of handles. Wild Bill Wholesale stocks a dozen Robert Klaas styles with autumn bone handles, from the Four Blade Congress to the Small Texas Toothpick, just 3 inches long closed. Other handles include Red Jigged Bone, Ram's Horn, Autumn Bone, Black Delrin and the classic yellow composite handle, all with nickel silver bolsters and shield inlay.

The Robert Klaas line of working knives includes a variety of blade shapes, some with etching on the blade, such as the Coal Miner and Black Angus, both with a high carbon steel blade and black ABS handles, and the Brown Mule, with brown hardwood handles with brass pins.

In addition to the folding knives, Robert Klaas offers several fixed blade knives, including the all-black Upswept Blade Hunter and more traditional Robert Klaas hunting knives with yellow composite, stag, autumn bone and ram's horn handles.
